National Institutes Of Health

The Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine conducted Western style clinical trials using acupuncture on a limited number of selected treatments for specific medical conditions. Medical practitioners may find useful diagnostic and treatment-related medical information on this site. The 1997 Consensus Report on Acupuncture is listed here.
